This is Day 13 of our 10,000 mile road trip across the US and Canada. We stopped in Oklahoma City (OKC!) and explored the downtown area for the day. We visited the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial, the Myriad Botanical Gardens, and Bricktown and the canals in Bricktown. We also ate at Nic's Grill, which has been featured on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives twice! It was amazing and we highly recommend it. Time Stamps: [coming soon] --- What's going on here? We quit our jobs, left New York City, bought a car, and decided to spend the summer driving around the US and Canada. The plan is to hit at least 35 states and 3 provinces and cover more than 10,000 miles. http://www.expedia.com/Portland.d178299.Destination-Travel-Guides Welcome to Portland, Oregon, where you can experience the laid-back atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest amid beautiful natural surroundings. A Portland tour is easily accomplished on foot; this city was designed for pedestrians, so you’ll be able to get around quickly. As you stroll along, you’ll find plenty of parks, fountains, and buildings old and new to explore. Be warned, this city is known for its sudden showers, so make sure you bring an umbrella to shield yourself until the sun makes a triumphant return. If you like a good brew, you’re going to love Portland’s alter-ego, Beervana – so named thanks to all the breweries located here. Wine snobs, don’t despair; you’ll find plenty to drink (responsibly) in the Willame...

A collection of catches from late March and early April of 2016, showcasing locations along BNSF's Red Rock Subdivision from Norman and further south, discussing the history of the area and the train movements in the present day. It seems like the longer the video is, exponentially more work goes into making it. These 20+ minute videos are definitely tough to make. Human trafficking has reached epic proportions in the U.S. Living in a small town you just kind of go along with what you hear on television. There have been many films over the last few years that address the issue in different ways. There was the realism of "Human Trafficking" with Mira Sorvino and the action/revenge of "Taken" with Liam Neeson. I'm sure we all wish we had a certain set of skills like Neeson and wipe out the problem ourselves. That isn't reality and the problem is very real. Not only are immigrants forced into the trade, but women and children from our own country as well. "Cargo" is a little film that not really addresses the issue, it does take a stark, realistic look at a young Russian woman who is taken and being transported. Not my usual type of film but once I star...

Jeff from Apex CDL Institute demonstrates how to perform a proper pre-trip inspection on a Class A tractor trailer. Remember, your states examiners might require a slightly different procedure. The process we use is good for both Kansas and Missouri and will pass easily in most states. ***This video is for demonstration purposes only. Apex CDL Institute makes no claim that the techniques, nomenclature or methodology of conducting a Pre-Trip Exam will work in your specific state. All state requirements are different.*** Any further education or clarification is reserved for students of Apex CDL Institute.
Created during WWII by the Santa Fe Railroad, this exceptionally rare color film shows Santa Fe's contribution to the war effort. After December 7th, 1941 the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company (AT&SF) pressed all available steam and diesel locomotives into action to assist with America's war efforts. This included the transport of military equipment, freight, troops & other military personnel. The increased employment of women railroad workers is also detailed. This film is part of the Periscope Film LLC archive, one of the largest historic military, transportation, and aviation stock footage collections in the USA. Entirely film backed, this material is available for licensing in 24p HD. For more information visit http://www.PeriscopeFilm.com
Sorry for the long video but i included everything i would of liked to know before getting into hotshot trucking.
This video depicts a journey of over a thousand miles by train on the I-5 Corridor. Shown in this video are the BNSF & UP Seattle Subdivisions as well as the UP Brooklyn, Cascade, Black Butte, Valley, and Fresno Subdivisions.
This was quite the ordeal to edit together. Lots to talk about and lots of clips to manage, but I think it turned out nicely! If you're a returning subscriber from my early days, you may remember me talking about a location in Oklahoma City that I referred to as "The Alley". This video serves as a sort of guide to the Alley itself, showcasing the location and history of the downtown district in between video from a fantastic day of railfanning. Got comments? Questions? Leave them below! I'd love to hear from you!
This entire video was filmed with my Samsung Galaxy S8 Active and edited with CyberLink PowerDirector. In the course of three hours on March 29, 2018, I caught a total of nine freight trains. Six eastbounds, and three westbounds. You'll see trains of almost every variety racing through Cedar Rapids along the Union Pacific's Clinton Subdivision in this video. ****TRAIN 1**** Shot at 1:19 pm. Union Pacific 6462 leads a westbound train of empty coal hoppers through J Street on the north main. Locomotives: Union Pacific 6462 (GE AC4400CW) Union Pacific 8432 (EMD SD70ACe) Union Pacific 6663 (GE AC4400CW; rear helper DPU) ****TRAIN 2**** This train came through at 1:41 pm. Union Pacific 7659 (GE ES44AC) leads an intermodal and piggyback train eastbound on the north main. Locomotives: Union...
