This is Day 13 of our 10,000 mile road trip across the US and Canada. We stopped in Oklahoma City (OKC!) and explored the downtown area for the day. We visited the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial, the Myriad Botanical Gardens, and Bricktown and the canals in Bricktown. We also ate at Nic's Grill, which has been featured on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives twice! It was amazing and we highly recommend it. Time Stamps: [coming soon] --- What's going on here? We quit our jobs, left New York City, bought a car, and decided to spend the summer driving around the US and Canada. The plan is to hit at least 35 states and 3 provinces and cover more than 10,000 miles. A full day of railfanning with some amazing train action in the heart of Oklahoma. Enjoy! For the last several videos, I've been working to include map graphics to try and give a sense of location in these videos. I'm not entirely sure how effective this has been, so I want to ask you viewers. Do the map graphics I include here really help that much? Hit up the comments below and let me know! This was quite the ordeal to edit together. Lots to talk about and lots of clips to manage, but I think it turned out nicely! If you're a returning subscriber from my early days, you may remember me talking about a location in Oklahoma City that I referred to as "The Alley". This video serves as a sort of guide to the Alley itself, showcasing the location and history of the downtown district in between video from a fantastic day of railfanning. Got comments? Questions? Leave them below! I'd love to hear from you!

Heartwrenching scenes of earthquake aftermath remind us of our fragile hold on life. -In the pre-dawn hours of 1994, a magnitude 6.7 earthquake strikes Los Angeles. We'll learn that it was centered on an unknown fault line, which raises new concerns about other unknown areas of risk. -Precisely a year later, an unknown fault ruptures beneath the Japanese city of Kobe. Despite the country's advanced seismic engineering, some 5,000 people die, most of them in collapsed buildings. We'll discover engineering theories that evolved from the tragedy and are now being...
A collection of catches from late March and early April of 2016, showcasing locations along BNSF's Red Rock Subdivision from Norman and further south, discussing the history of the area and the train movements in the present day.
